ABOUT NADIA
After more than 14 years of teaching the art of doll crafting around the world I have many wonderful experiences that I would like to share with others who love Japanese art. Here I am looking at all of you out there, come and join me and this beautiful art. Together we will discover great things, and wonderful friendships will grow.

Nadia Azumi

An Italian, Nadia received her Professorship (Kanban) in 1989 from two top Japanese kimekomi doll schools in Tokyo, namely, Kyugetsu and Miyabi. She is trained to give instructions and legally authorized to give teacher's certificates from these schools.

She also holds a Professor-3rd Grade certificate (sokakan) from the Ikenobo School in Kyoto. She has taught flower arrangement and silk-flower making for many years in adult education centers in Virginia and also at the Smithsonian Institute in D.C.
